In Fall 2012, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Business Innovation Factory teamed up and set out to understand and design mechanisms for teacher feedback.

I traveled with a team of anthropologists and was tasked to shoot a series of interviews with staff, and also capture the many different ways teachers interact with their students and peers on a daily basis. This meant I was in classrooms shooting for many hours and many days!

The goal of these videos was to articulate that teachers are constantly seeking to improve and hone their craft, despite limitations due to things like mandated curriculums or personal issues that students bring with them to school.

I tried to keep them as informative and simplistic as possible, and keep them no longer than 5 minutes. I not only shot all the material and did the voice over work; I also composed and recorded the music to this piece as well.
